02: Introduction

In the land of Hyrule, there echoes a legend, a legend held dearly by the Royal Family that tells of a boy, a boy who after battling evil and saving Hyrule, crept away from that land that had made him a legend. Done with the battles he once waged across time, he embarked on a journey, a secret and personal journey, a journey in search of a beloved and invaluable friend, a friend with whom he parted ways when he finally fulfilled his heroic destiny, and took his place among legends.

03: The Journey Begins

Mystical Forest

In what looks like a Norwegian forest, you start the game after Skull Kid knocked you out and made off with Epona and the Ocarina. Before you go chase him down, I suggest that you hack away the bushes with your sword to get some Rupees, which may take the adrenaline down a bit, but eh.

After you go in the tunnel, you will come to an area of forest with some stumps. Go crazy with the bushes to get more Rupees. The more circular sets of shrubbery will start hopping in a circle when you attack them, and disappear in a short amount of time. These aren't too important now, so just hit as many as you can and hop up the trunks and into the next tunnel.

Inside the hole, you will see a cut scene where Link will fall into a magical abyss and land on top of a Deku Plant. Epona is nowhere to be seen and Skull Kid will turn Link into a Deku Scrub. Tatl, one of the faeries, will start beating on Link, and Skull Kid leaves. Tatl is stuck in the room with you and she will bug you to help her open the door. Walk down the hall to trigger another cut scene.

Tatl more formally introduces herself to Link and asks not to be left behind, and in return she will help Link find the Skull Kid. Link just shrugs and the cut scene ends. Go to the bottom of the room and get the Rupees from the plants, then go back to the top and glide to the other side of the room using the Deku Flower.

In the next room you will find more Deku Flowers and some ledges across from you and to your right. Use the Deku flower next to you to soar to the ledge that's in front of you, then use this new Deku flower to fly up to the next ledge with the chest on it. Open the chest to get 10 Deku Nuts. Now fly back to the Deku Flower near the door you entered. Use this Deku Flower to fly to the ledge that is on your right. Land on the one that is closest to you. Tatl will pop up teaching you how to use Z targeting. Then fly over the ledge with the weird tree and amuse Tatl by talking to her about it. After all that go in the tunnel

Another cut scene will start where Deku Link walks down a twisting tunnel and enters a building. Head up the ramp and past the water wheel, then head for the door When you try to go out the door at the top a cut scene will start where you will meet the Happy Mask Dealer. He will say that he knows that Link has been turned into a Deku Scrub because he has been following Link. Right, well, Mr. Mask Dealer tells Link that he can change him back into his original form if he does him a favor first. You have to retrieve his missing mask and your ocarina in less than three days. When you are done talking go through the door and into Clock Town.

04: Give Me My Ocarina

Clock Town

Once you enter Clock Town Tatl will talk to you and tell you about her opinion of the Happy Mask Dealer, which is very similar to mine actually. Then she will tell Link that he should visit the Great Faerie of Magic in North Clock Town. Clock Town it is divided into different regions, North, South, West, and East Clock Town. You want to head to North Clock Town because you need to visit the Great Faerie and buy a map. Turn to your right and head up the ramps to the doorway at the top and enter it. Look for an older guy dressed in a green outfit. That would be Tingle, the thirty-five year old who believes a faerie will come to him someday. He will get really excited to see Tatl and will sell you maps at a discount. But a map of Clock Town, and if you have the money one for Woodfall.

We're off to visit the faerie, the wonderful faerie of magic. Run up the ramp, past the Deku Flower and into the cave. Go further down the tunnel and Tatl will comment on the health of the Great Faerie. Walk into the faeries and they will tell you that the Skull Kid scattered her pieces and one of them is lost, and Link must find the missing faerie. Exit the Faerie Fountain and use your map to head back to South Clock Town, and then head southwest and enter the Laundry Pool. If it is still the first day you will see a faerie above the water so jump across the water to get it. Head back to Faerie Headquarters to get your reward.

The Great Faerie of Magic will turn back into her normal state. Um, what can I say? Anywho, she will grant Link the ability to use Magic, so now you can shoot Deku Bubbles. She will also tell you to visit the old man at the Observatory for more information about Skull Kid's whereabouts. Go outside and look for the kid trying to shoot a dart at a balloon. Use your Deku Bubble to burst the bubble and then talk to the kid. Play his game to gain entry to the Observatory.

To start off there are two of them in North Clock Town already. One is behind the tree that's near the mailbox and the other kid by the hill. To catch them shoot a bubble then tag them. Two more kids are in East Clock Town so go through the doorway near the mailbox. One is on the roof with a chicken, so you will have to head up there. When you get too close he will grab the chicken and glide down so just hop down after him and catch him. The next kid is up on the inn's roof, so find the Deku Flower on the yellow grass and fly up to him and tag them. Now head to West Clock Town and tag the last kid. Once the cut-scene telling you the password ends head to East Clock Town and enter the hideout.

Go down the stone ramp and hop into the water and then the Big Skulltula towards the end of the tunnel. When you're in the next room shoot the balloon with a bubble and climb the ladder. Climb up the steps and the platform and talk to the man next to the telescope.

He will tell you how Skull Kid threatened to take his Moon's Tear and said he would destroy all of his equipment. Then he asks you if you would like to look through his telescope, so look through his telescope, and zoom in on the Clock Tower and you'll see the Skull Kid just ahead of you, doing a little dance and a Moon Tear will fall. After it ends the man will tell you he does not know how the Skull Kid could get up there providing that the entrance to the top of the clock tower only opens on the eve of the Carnival, or 12:00 PM on the third day. Exit the Observatory and take the Moon's Tear from outside the door. Return to South Clock Town. Now walk down the ramp, and go near the golden Deku Flower to meet a Deku who really wants the Moon's Tear for his wife. Once you give it to him he will give you a Land Title Deed and permission to use the Golden Deku Flower. Burrow into the Flower and turn towards the Clock Tower. There will be a little ledge with a Heart Piece on it so glide over to it to pick it up. Then it will explain what a heart piece is and all that good stuff.

You ought to go to West Clock Town and down the alley. Look for a dude wearing green and waving his hands about. He will tell you that he runs the Clock Town Bank and he offers prized to people who deposit a lot of money. Deposit all of your leftover Rupees and go back to South Clock Town. Use the Deku Flower to go back to the ledge where you found the Heart Piece. Now you will have to wait here until Midnight on the Final Day. A cut scene will start up and show the door to the Clock Tower being opened. Enter the door for the match against Skull Kid.

A cut scene will start where Tatl will be overjoyed to see her brother Tael and her friend the Skull Kid. Tael suddenly says "Swamp. Mountains. Ocean. Field. The four that are there bring them here." Then the Skull Kid hits Tael and tells him to shut up. Then Tatl gasps and says that she and Tael wouldn't be his friend anymore after that. Then Skull kid says that even the four wouldn't be able to stop him now anyway. Then he starts laughing and the cut scene ends. Well, this took me a while to figure out, but if you shoot him with a bubble he will drop the Ocarina. Hurry and take it. Then sit back and Link's flashback of Princess Zelda when she gave him the Ocarina. (Sniff. How beautiful... the song I mean. It is so pretty sounding. I know this has nothing to do with this, but I learned how to play the Simpson's theme song on the Ocarina. LOL.) Learn the Song of Time again. Then you return to the world when Tatl hits you and tells you to stop daydreaming. :-) Then she says that we don't need an instrument, we need more time. Well pull out your instrument and Tatl will exclaim, "Where the heck did that come from?!" because instead of the Ocarina you will pull out Deku Pipes, cause I would like to see a Deku Scrub play the Ocarina. Anyway, play The Song of Time to return to the first day, and watch the funny cut scene.

Enter the Clock Tower through the doors at the bottom and talk to the Happy Mask Dealer. He will teach you the Song of Healing. This will get rid of the Evil Spirits and cause them to be transformed to a mask that the Happy Mask Dealer will give you as a souvenir! Yay, just what I always wanted. Then you will go through the cut scene where the Mask Guy figured out you do not have his mask. Hah hah. He has some pretty mean eyes. When that is over and you feel guilty go to East Clock Town and into the Bomber's Hideout. Then exit and the Bomber's will come up and give you the Bomber's Notebook where you can keep track of almost all the people you met. That is so cool... I never used it much though. Right, make sure it is still the first day and go to North Clock Town. Around Midnight you will see an elderly lady walking. A creepy robber guy will come skipping about and steal her bag (how rude), so all you have to do is hit him before he can escape out the North Exit of Clock Town. The lady will be so thrilled that you helped her she will give you the Blast Mask! Oh yeah! :)

Now head south to the Laundry Pool and you will find a baldish guy with his instrument sitting on a bench. Talk to him and you will get the Bremen Mask! Let time pass until it becomes the 2nd day, and when it is 10AM, head to East Clock Town and enter the Mayor's Residence. Go through the door on the right, and talk to the Zora (fish lady) and then to the other lady. Agree to help her look for her son and you will get Kafei's Mask! Whew. All those masks. I mean where does Link put them? Also look around town for the stray Faerie, because if you bring it back to the Great Faerie of Magic's Temple she will now give you the Faerie Mask.

Do you want to know something cool? Well, go to Termina Field at Midnight on the Final Day? Do you hear something? Guess what it is... ok, it is Classic Zelda Tunes! All the memories come flooding back, huh? Don't forget to play the Song Of Time before you run out of time though. I accidentally did that. The cut scene when you run out was pretty cool though. Well, anyways, continue to the south at around midnight, and run forward until you reach the tree with a drawing on it. This will activate a cut-scene about the two Fairies and the Skull Kid, and it shows how he got a hold of the Majora's Mask in the first place.

Okay, now be sure to have the Bremen Mask equipped to one of the C-Buttons, then check out the sign near the tree, which points to Romani Ranch. Follow the sign, and enter Milk Road. Run forward, and follow Milk Road all the way to Romani Ranch. If you wish, you can go there on the first day, then stand near the guy who is trying to unblock the path to the ranch, then play the Song of Double Time until you reach the dawn of the Final Day, when he will be done unblocking the path. Now enter the Romani Ranch.

Go to the right, and you will spot Epona locked up. Enter the barn that is behind Epona, and has some chicken drawings on the front of it, and speak with the man near the tree. Put on the Bremen Mask, and march around the place, collecting the 10 tiny, yellow chicks. Once you have them all, they will grow into normal chickens, and the man will give you the Bunny Hood! Go back to Clock Town, and find the mailman, who is running around town. You might have to return to the first day again, because time is probably running out by now.

On your way back, run in the tall grass just past the Milk Road in Termina Field, and run around the area with the flying butterflies, and you should fall into a hole. If it is daytime, then fight the Pea Pod, and take the Heart Piece from inside of the chest! If it is nighttime, kill the 3 flying razor pods that come out of the sleeping Pea Pod if you slash at it with your sword. Return to Clock Town, and search for the mailman who is running around. Once you find him, follow him and after a while, he'll enter the Post Office, so follow him in there too. He'll leave, so continue to follow him wherever he goes. This is a good way to add more and more people to your Notebook too. Once he returns to the post office again and he's training on his bed, play his game. You'll have to stop the timer at exactly 10 seconds. If you mess up and want to try again, it will cost you 2 Rupees, but if you want to cheat, just exit, then re-enter the post office to play again for free. You will get a Heart Piece if you can get the timer to stop on exactly 10 seconds.

Before you head to Woodfall Swamp, be sure to get the Woodfall Map from Tingle in North Clock Town. After getting it, head out the western exit of Clock Town, run past that tree with the drawing on it and into Woodfall Swamp.

05: The First Guardian Mask ð

Woodfall Swamp

You need to find the large black tree near the hole in the ground, and kill the bat that is above it using a bubble as Deku Link, then climb to the top to find an easy Heart Piece! Yay!!!!!!! Head into the Southern Swamp area, and climb the ladder to the house, and give the Land Title Deed to the Deku Scrub, take the Swamp Title Deed, and then use the Deku Flower to launch yourself onto the roof, and take the Heart Piece here! Follow the lily pads down to the left of this hut, and at the end, enter the next area. In this area, run behind the large hut on stilts, and enter the Woods of Mystery.

Here you will find a really adorable little monkey. Put your Bunny Hood on, and talk to him. He'll tell you to follow him, so do so. At the end, you will find Koume. She needs some help, so leave the Woods of Mystery, and re-enter the Southern Swamp, and exit the Woods of Mystery.

Right when you exit, you will see another witch fly out of her hut, and fly into the Woods of Mystery. Return back into the Woods, and follow the monkey again, and along the way, you will meet the other witch. Talk to her, and she'll give you the Bottle of Red Potion! Now exit the Woods to return to the Southern Swamp, then re-enter the Woods, and follow the monkey once more to the other witch who needs the Red Potion. If you accidentally drink it yourself (I did.), then go get some more.

The directions to get to the witch are:

Day 1: Left, Right, Right, Straight, Left, Left
Day 2: Right, Left, Straight, Left, Left, Right
Day 3: Straight, Left, Right, Right, Straight, Right

Now talk to her, and when she mentions the C-Buttons, take out the Red Potion , which should be on a C-Button, and give it to her. Koume is revived! Now she'll take you on a Free Swamp ride whenever you wish. Now leave the Woods once again. Follow the 3 Monkeys outside of the Woods back into the first area with the Deku Flower near the hut, and enter this hut. Now talk to Kotake inside of the Tourist Information booth, and she'll give you the Photograph Box.

Get ready for your Swamp Ride! I hope Link does not get Sea Sick. When the boat stops, and they ask you if you would like to stop at Deku's Palace, say yes. Put the Deku Mask on, and do into the palace.

Deku's Palace

Talk to the Deku in front of you. Then run straight past them and into the Royal Chamber. Take a picture of the Deku King, then talk to him. He says that they are about to punish the mean old' monkey who kidnapped the Deku princess! Go up and talk to the monkey in the cage, then exit this room. The monkey out here will tell you that there is a secret entrance to the cage, but you need a Magic Bean from the Magic Bean seller. Enter the right door (or left one), and make your way through the maze, until you reach a hole. Drop into it, and buy some Magic Beans from the seller. Also, search throughout the maze to find a Heart Piece! Oh yeah!

The Seller will give you one free sample, so use it wisely. Exit the hole, and go back outside to the lily pads. Hop across the lily pads out here to get to the other side of this area, and along the way, you will find a small island with a Deku Flower on it. Use it to launch up to the ledge here, and enter the next area. Use all of these Deku Flowers to fly from pad to pad, until you get to the last one. Now fly over to the ledge with the blue stone on it, and talk to the Owl. Now check out the stone, and you will learn the Song of Soaring! That saves loads of time later on.

Return back down to the ground, and head left from the entrance to the Royal Chamber, and you will see a sign pointing to the Outer Area near a lily pad. Follow the lily pads to the next patch of land, and you will find a soft-soil spot. Plant a magic bean leaf here, then wait for either the second day to come for it to rain, or use a bottle of water on it to make it grow. When it does grow, hop onto the leaf.

Follow the ledge to the first of many Deku Flowers, and use these to fly to the next Flower, and so on. Along the way, kill the Deku Scrubs who attack and are in your way. At the end of this annoying flying game, is the trapped monkey. Talk to him, hit the pole with your sword, turn into Deku Link then take our your Deku Pipes (or Ocarina) to learn a new song, the Sonata of the Awakening! Now return back to the Tourist Center, and talk to the rather large man here, and show him your photo of the King Deku, and he will give you a Heart Piece! Now take the boat ride back to the Deku Palace area. Return to the ledge where you learned the Song of Soaring, then glide over to the next ledge, and enter Woodfall.

Woodfall

Go right and across the water and onto the platform. Use the platform, and go to the top of it, and kill the enemies on the way. At the top, use the Deku Flower, and glide over to the next platform, up the ramp, then glide over to the little gazebo or whatever it is. It should have an Owl Statue here, so activate it. Now stand on the Deku platform, and play the Sonata of Awakening. This opens up the Woodfall Temple! But before you enter it, look behind the Owl Statue to see a chest on a platform. Glide over here and open the chest to find a blue Rupee. Make your way back to the center platform with the Owl Statue, then use the Deku Flower to glide over to the entrance to the Woodfall Temple.

Woodfall Temple

Once inside, you will see a jar in front of you. This holds a faerie, so catch it inside of a jar if you wish, then take off your Deku Mask, and put on the Great Faerie Mask. This will attract that pink little faerie in front of you, and will become your first faerie found in the game (there are 15 total fairies inside each dungeon, and they can all be attracted using the Great Faerie Mask. Good Thing...). Now go back into Deku Link, and use the Deku Flower here to fly to the next platform with the second Deku Flower on it, then face eastward, and fly to the platform with the chest on it. Open the chest to find Stray Faerie #2 in this temple.

Now make your way across the platforms to the north, and head through the door at the end. Kill the Deku Plant to your left, run down the ramp to the bottom, then kill the next Deku Plant down here to reveal the third Stray Faerie here. Hop across the Venus flytraps in the water, and go across to the other side of you, until you reach a door that is unlocked. Now turn right, and head to the lone platform with a lot of jars on it. Inside one of the jars is another stray faerie, so take it, then return to the door, and head through it.

Hop on the flytraps again in this room, and to the center Deku Flower. Use it to fly off to the right ledge that has the chest on it. Open the chest to find a Small Key! Now head through the next door. After the doors lock on you, you will have to kill the 3 razor-turtles in here. To do this, dive inside of the Deku Flowers, and wait for them to come running across the top of you, then launch yourself in the air to kill them. Now that they are gone, a chest will appear, containing the Dungeon Map, and the doors will become unlocked. Remember where you got Faerie 2 in the first room, the one near the locked door? Head back there, and unlock the door with your key, and enter it.

Run forward, and push the block out of your way, and go right to find a Big Skulltula. Kill it, and get the next stray faerie #5. Continue along the path, and push the block out of your way, back towards the entrance to this room, then take the right path to find a un-lit torch near a locked door. Turn into normal Link, and put on the Bunny Hood, light a Deku Stick on the torch near Faerie #5 was, then run it back to this torch and light it to open the next door. Now enter the door after it unlocks for you.

Inside here, kill the Dragonflies the same way you did with the razor-turtles in the Dungeon Map room, and then take the Compass from the chest. Leave the room. Turn back to normal Link, put on the Bunny Hood, and light a Deku Stick, and run up the stairs here. Light the torch here, then light your Deku Stick again with this torch, and hop across the platforms to the spider webs, and burn them away. Head up the stairs here, and kill all of the little invisible creatures on the ground, enter the next room, and kill them all until a chest appears. Take the faerie from the chest, then light a Deku Stick with the center torch, and run around the outside of this room to light the 3 un-lit torches and open the next door. Enter it.

In here, use the Deku Flowers to get across the gaps, and to the other side of the room. You can either kill or ignore the Dragonflies, but either way, be sure to get to the other side safely. Enter the doorway on the other side, go down the stairs, and enter the large room as normal Link. Step on the floor switch in front of you, and watch as 2 ladders appear. Head through the door near the switch first, then go right and enter the door at the end to fight a boss (well, sort of).

Boss: Iron & Fire Dinalfo

It's pretty easy to win. He has some armor on, which makes it harder to attack him, and he usually dodges your attacks with a really cool back flip. He can also shoot fire at you, which you cannot defend against, so stay back from him when he does this. It's best to attack right after he has attacked you, and after he has back flipped. A few hits will get him down.

After the fight, the door will become unlocked, and a chest will appear. The Hero's Bow is in it! Exit the room, and equip your Hero's Bow. Now aim for the eye that is across the room, and shoot it to make a platform rise in the center of the room. Turn into Deku Link and glide over to the platform, then to the other side. Enter the door to fight another battle.

Boss: Gekko

This guy is annoying as heck!!! Okay, start off by playing as normal Link, and attack him a few times, until he summons his large razor turtle. Now turn into Deku Link, and find a Deku Flower. Dive in it, and wait for the turtle to come across the top of you, then launch up to knock Gekko off. Now Gekko will climb the walls, so return to normal Link, and wait for him to stop, and shoot him with an arrow. He'll then return to his razor-turtle, so turn back to Deku Link, and repeat this process until he dies off, and turns into a small frog, and two doors unlock, one containing the boss key chest.

Take the boss key and leave the room. Stand near the floor switch, and shoot an arrow through the fire, and to the center torch inside the large center flower. Now go right, and you will find a bubble with a Stray Faerie inside it, so pop it, and take Faerie Seven. Now hop onto the large spinning flower and aim for the unlit torch on a lone platform in a corner of the room, and shoot an arrow through the torch on the flower you are on, and to the unlit torch to open the next door. Head through this door.

Inside here, hop down to the Deku Flower near the ladder, and use it to glide over to the ledge with the Faerie Bubble to the left of the ladder (Face the ladder). Take Faerie #8, then look ahead to see a crystal switch. Shoot it with an arrow to lower the flames blocking the boss door. Now go to the other side of the ladder to find Faerie #9 on the ledge here, and look up to your right to see another Faerie inside a bubble, up on the ledge. Get this one too, using the Deku Flowers to fly up to it. Now shoot the crystal switch again to lower the fire, and use the Deku Flower to fly to the center platform where another stray faerie is and take it, then continue to fly over to the platform near it, where another Deku Flower is. Use this one to launch up to the Deku Flower on the roof of a small platform is above you, then fly over to the boss door, and enter it using your Boss Key.

MASKED JUNGLE WARRIOR: ODOLWA

This guy's is a bally pain in the rear but is power is completely laughable. He mainly attacks you with his sword, so avoid those attacks, then strike his legs several times with your sword. After a while, he'll call out some spiders. Kill these guys off, then concentrate on him. He'll also surround Link with a ring of fire, so just wait until this dies off, and then continue to attack. When he starts to dance and sing, or when he just stops attacking you, shoot some arrows at him to stun him, then come in and attack as much as you can with your sword before he starts up again. It's a good idea to use the surrounding bomb-flowers as a source of arrows and hearts when you are running low. Always keep your shield up at all times, except when you are attacking, or else you will take some serious damage. When he calls in some bats to surround him and you, just block them with your shield, and continue your method of attack. After enough damage, Odolwa goes down.

Take the Full Heart Container (so cool), then step inside the portal to get Odolwa's Remains. After this, Link will learn the Oath to Order! After the cut scene has ended, you will be outside of a tree containing the Deku Princess. Cut down the vines blocking the door to rescue her, then capture her inside of an empty bottle. Now exit this area, and return to the Royal Chamber, and release the Princess from the bottle in front of the king. Watch the hilarious cut scene, and the monkey will tell you about something special for you to the right of the outer area of the Deku Palace. Exit to out here, and turn back to normal Link, and swim right, and follow the lily pads around the bend, and enter the Deku Shrine.

Enter it, and speak to the Deku in here. Race him (or follow him) using the Bunny Hood, and after the REALLY FREAKIN LOOOOOONG trip, he'll give you the Mask of Scents! After taking the mask, step into the Portal to return to the outside of the Deku Shrine. When you are ready to go, head back to the Tourist Information Center in the Southern Swamp area, and speak with Kotake in there. Take the boat ride, and on the way, you will be allowed to play her mini-game. There is a target on the back of the boat (Kotake actually has the target on her broom and she's following the boat), and your goal is to hit the targets at least 20 times. If you hit Kotake more than 10 times, you lose. Hit the targets 20 times or more, and Kotake will give you a Heart Piece! The game is 10 Rupees to play if you lose the first time, so be ready...

This Heart Piece is on a platform to the left of the entrance to Woodfall Swamp. First, head over to the Owl Statue that is near the entrance to the Woodfall Temple, then use the Deku Flower here and fly to the north, and to the next Deku Flower. Be sure to kill the Deku Scrubs as you go too. Continue to fly from platform to platform, until you reach a platform with a large chest on top (the ledge) should be near the entrance). Open the chest, and you will find a Heart Piece!

06: The Second Guardian Mask

Before The Temple

Now go back to Clock Town using the Song of Soaring to save time. Deposit your Rupees in the Clock Town Bank, except for about forty. Then head to East Clock Town, and locate the Shooting Gallery in this area. Head in there, and pay 20 Rupees to play. Your goal is to hit as many Purplish Octoroks as possible, and not to hit any Blue ones while you're at it. Hitting a blue one results in a loss of a point, and the record that you will have to beat the first time is 39 points. It shouldn't be too hard, but you only have 1 minute and 15 seconds to do so, so be quick about your shots, and don't hit any Blue ones! I actually take archery lessons so it was really easy for me. If you beat the record, you will receive the Large Quiver that can hold 40 arrows! Hip Hip Hooray! Now unless you are truly amazing, you should play the Song of Time before you start the next dungeon.

You're going to need some more items for your next dungeon, like bombs for instance, so go to East Clock Town, and locate the Bomb Shop. In here, talk with the Goron to learn about a big bomb that he has that this store doesn't even carry...hmmm. Anyways, talk to the Shopkeeper, and purchase a Bomb Bag for 50 Rupees It comes with 20 bombs so it's all good.

On the first day, waste some time and play some more games in the Clock Town, and at midnight of the First Day, leave Clock Town through the northern exit, then run left, following the fence. Eventually, you will reach a man on top of a large rock, and he's....dancing. >_< Whatever, play the Song of Healing after you talk to him and you will receive the Kamaro Mask! Now return East Clock Town. Find the two sisters who are dancing together o_0, and put the mask on. Now press B to teach them a new dance! They will be so happy that you have done this, that they will give you a Heart Piece! Dance dance dance...? I sure as heck can't. Link can better then me.

If you still need some more Heart Pieces, you can find one inside of a hole outside of the northern exit of Clock Town, in the snowy area, just past the ramp you run down, and it's near one of those mushroom shaped rocks (like where you got that funky Kamaro Mask). Inside, there are two Dodongos. Concentrate on one of them first, then the other. To defeat them, just wait for them to shoot fire at you, then circle around them to their tales, attack with a jumping slash, defend with your shield right away, because they'll spin around and hit you with there tail, then repeat. After both of them are defeated, you will get a chest containing a Heart Piece! Now since you are in this area, you might as well head off to Snowheed, so run to the right of this hole, and up the ramp, then up the second ramp at the top of this one. At the top, you are blocked by some ice, and Tatl points out a icicle above it. Shoot it with 2 arrows to cause the icicle to drop, and shatter the ice blocking your way. Now enter the snowy area, and make your way to the giant snowballs blocking your path. Bomb them, then continue up the path, and into Mountain Village.

Mountain Village

Enter the village and speak with the Goron stuck on the ledge to the left. He's very hungry, and has been stuck there for a long time, and he needs help(Looks like he could live for a year with his weight though.) Now look to the right of this Goron to find the Owl Statue for this area, and hit it to activate it. Now head through the next path, and into Goron Village.

In here, shoot Tingle down from the sky (boom), and buy a Snowhead Map for 20 Rupees. Now enter the next area, just beyond Tingle and the bridges. Run past the next Goron, and run along the bridge until you see the real owl near you, then hop down to the lower level, and speak with the Owl. Now follow him when he tells you to, and use the feathers he drops to guide you to the invisible platforms. Be careful, because the platforms are slippery. Now at the end, the Owl will talk to you once more. In this next shrine, stock up on bombs, then open the chest to find the Lens of Truth! Exit the shrine, and use the Lens of Truth to see yourself back to the main land, and across the invisible platforms. On the other side, you will be able to see a Goron ghost with the Lens of Truth on. Now just follow him to all the way back to the first area you came in through, and into the Mountain Village, and over the icy platforms, and up the invisible ladder.

At the top, speak to the Goron, then enter the Goron Graveyard. Inside, speak to the ghost of the Goron, who is Darmani the Third. When he asks you to heal him, play the Song of Healing to him. After doing this, Link will receive the Goron Mask! Now use this mask to pull the giant gravestone away, revealing a bunch of hot water! Go back into normal Link, fill up a bottle of Hot Water, then exit the Goron Graveyard, and enter the area with Tingle (do it fast, or the water won't be hot anymore). Locate the giant snowball on the ground that is bigger than the rest, and hit it to reveal a frozen Goron. Use the hot water on her, then run back up to the higher-area near the bridge to find a frozen over hole. Go back to the graveyard and take some more water, and un-freeze this hole. Now you have access to another hot-steam pond inside this hole. Who's thinking about charging for a local spa here?

Return to the area where you meet the owl, and find the closed door on the lower area. Do the Goron Stomp which is A + B together to open it.

Goron Shrine

Enter the Goron Shrine. Head to the north, and speak to the crying baby(1, 2, 3, Aw...), then go back to the old Goron you defrosted. He got frozen again, so unfreeze him once more. Talk to him, and he'll teach you only the first part of the Goron's Lullaby, which is the Lullaby Intro! Now run back to the baby inside of the Goron Shrine, and play the Lullaby Intro to it. The baby will then teach you the second part, and learn the Goron Lullaby!

Now that everyone is asleep, and the two torches are lit up near the baby, turn into normal Link with the Bunny Hood, and light a Deku Stick with one of those torches, and then run around the Goron Shrine, and light all of the torches here, until the large center chandelier starts to spin around. Now return to the top of the area, and face the burning chandelier as Goron Link, and do a Goron Spike roll from the red carpet and to the burning pots on the chandelier. Break each pot until a piece of meat falls from one of them. Now pick this up as Goron Link, and carry it to that starving Goron near the Owl Statue in Mountain Village. Give him the rock sirloin, and he'll come down to you, and hand you the Don Gero Mask!(....)

Mountain Village

Now go back to the hole with the hot water in it, fill up your bottle with some, then return to the large cabin near the owl statue, and inside, unfreeze the frozen machine. Now the guys in here can re-forge your sword for 100 Rupees, but if you use the sword 100 times or more, it will regain its old sharpness, and require another re-forging. Do so if you wish, but as you leave, the guy tells you that if you bring him some gold dust, he can forge you the Gilded Sword. (It is cool looking)

I suggest that you now play the Song of Time to save your game and return to the first day, then play the Song of Soaring to return here, and continue your journey. Now, turn into Goron Link, and use your newfound powers to continue your quest, and to locate the Snowhead Dungeon. Take the path to the right of the Owl Statue, and enter the next area. Press A to crouch, then hold forward to gain speed, and jump across the gap. Continue doing this over the 2 gaps, and enter the Snowhead area.

Snowhead

Once you are here, immediately hit the Owl Statue with your sword as normal Link to activate him, and turn it into a potential warp point. You will also see a strong wind current that is blowing towards you, and not letting you enter the next area. Use the Lens of Truth to see a large (very large) Goron blowing cold air at you to prevent you from entering. Step closer to him, and as Goron Link, play the Goron Lullaby to put him to sleep, and allow access to the next area. By the way, there is a faerie inside of a snowball near the owl statue, so capture it inside of your bottle before moving on. Run up the path, and go right to find a Faerie Temple in the side of the mountain. Continue to the right to find a large spiral ice ramp. Go up it, dodge the giant snowballs, and enter the Snowhead Temple.

Snowhead Temple

Kill the white shadow beings, then use your punch to break through the ice blocking your path as Goron Link. Now push the large block out of your way, and kill the Wolf in the next room. Enter the right-hand door. Inside this next room, do your Goron Roll across the bridge, and then launch yourself across the gap. Now go back to normal Link, and hop over to the door on the other ledge, on the other side of the bridge.

Head up the stairs, and inside the next room is the chest containing the Dungeon Map. Also, there is a stray faerie inside of this room, so take it, then go back to the bridge. Now hop back over the small gap, and look underneath the ledge for a faerie inside of a bubble. Shoot an arrow through the bubble, then put on the Great Faerie Mask to catch your second faerie in this dungeon.

Now enter the next doorway to your left, and run across the center platform, and through the only open door on the other side. Turn left inside the next room, and pull out the two stacked blocks to reveal a small room containing a small chest. The chest has a small key, so take it, then exit the room.

Run back across the center platform, and enter the stairway to the left of the door you entered this room earlier. Downstairs, turn into Goron Link, then step on the floor switch to make a chest appear. Open it up, and take the Stray Faerie #3. Now return back upstairs. See the iced up door near the two torches? Shoot an arrow through a torch and to the ice, so that it melts it away. Kill the Wolf in here, then use the Key on the door to the right. Enter it, and kill the Wolf in here too. Now open the chest to get the Compass. Look over to the discolored wall, and bomb it to reveal a staircase. Take it upstairs.

Aim upward at the icicles above the room here, and shoot some arrows at them to cause them to drop, and destroying the ice covering the platforms. Now hop onto the lowest platform as normal link, and hop to the platform with the large snowball on it. As Goron Link, crush it to reveal a chest with a small key in it. Now, using your new small key, enter the locked door.

In here, run to the right, and Goron Stomp the first switch, take off the mask, go over the platform and to the other side, stomp the switch that just came up, then go back to the platform that you just used to get over here to, stomp that, then take off the mask, and climb up the platform near the door, and enter the door before the timer runs out.

With that over with, enter the door, and curl up as Goron Link. Launch yourself over the gap, then turn right ASAP, and over the snow. Once you are out of the snow, stop rolling, and face the next gap to the right. Curl up once more, and get some speed, and launch yourself over the next gap, and to the door on the other side. In here, you will fight Wiz robe. He'll randomly appear at one of the four outer areas, and when he starts to rotate around, attack him with your sword or arrows. After enough damage, he'll make copies of himself, so just look around until you see the rotating one again, and attack. Do this until he dies off, and a chest will appear. The Fire Arrows are inside, so take them. Leave the room.

Go back downstairs to the first bridge-gap room with the Freezards, and melt them all with your Fire Arrows. One of them will reveal a small chest containing a small key. Take it, then return to the previous room, the one with the large platform in the center of it. In here, use your Fire Arrows to melt the other 2 doors with ice on them. Now enter the green door right across from you to the north. Melt the Freezards in here to get a chest with Stray Faerie, then light all 3 torch stands with your Fire Arrows (duh o_0)to open the door across the room. Head through the door, and turn into Goron Link, and Goron Stomp the switch here.

Exit this small area, then return to the large main room with the center platform that just rose. Now go right, and through the red door, hang a left through the next-door, fly across the bridge gap with Goron Link, then hop across the ledge, and through the stairway to enter the room where you got the Dungeon Map earlier. Stand on the center platform, look up, and see a Freezard here. Shoot it with an Fire Arrow, then shoot the iced-over eye switch again with another arrow. The platform will rise. Hop over to the ledge, and exit out the door. Turn right, and hop into the small little cage below the snow, and climb up the ladder at the end, and exit through the stairway to your right. Now turn right again, and Goron Roll across the snow, then exit through the door to the right, after the snow ends.

Kill the two Snow Eenos in here with some Fire Arrows, turn right of the doorway, and melt the ice with your Fire Arrow, then climb the stairs. Kill the two Dinofols with Goron Link, and they will both yield some stray Fairies, so here are Stray Fairies #5-6 in here. Enter the next door, run across the platform, and enter the next room to fight Wizrobe again. Do the same thing as before to beat him, and be sure to use the pots on the platforms as sources of hears, Magic Bottles, and arrows. After the fight, a door opens, so enter it, and take the Boss Key. Now exit out the door, and head back down to the 2F of the Temple.

See the blue sections of the giant stone in the center of the room? Good job. Put on the Goron Mask, and punch the two blue sections away from the platform, turn around, and go back up to the 3F. Do the same thing to the next 2 blue sections of the tower, then roll across the snow to reach the actual platform. Look across it, and you will see some snowballs, so punch them away, and climb the stairs. At the top, you will see the boss door. Roll up, and fly across the gap, and over to the boss door. Now crush the icicles in front of it, and enter the room to fight this Temple's boss.

MASKED MECHANICAL MONSTER, GOHT

Run into the room, and you'll find Goht trapped in ice. Free him wish a Fire Arrow. Now he'll begin a long rampage around this area, doing laps and going mad. Roll up, and begin a super-charge with Goron Link, and chase him around, all while avoiding his bombs that he drops, the falling rocks, the rocks he kicks at you with his hind legs, and his electrical charges. One thing to remember is to not get in front of him, or the electrical charges will seriously harm you. Chase him around with your spike roll thingy, and when you get near him, just ram into Goht until he drops, then continue your attack until he gets back up, and starts to run again. Repeat this three times, and Goht will run into the side of the wall, and will be crushed by huge boulders. Run around to where he died to get your Full Heart Container.

Step inside of the portal, and take Goht's Remains! Watch the cinema, and return to the game, surrounded by frogs! Now that the snow has melted away, certain places will open up, like the new path in Goron Village that leads to a Biggoron who sells Powder Kegs to Gorons, so enter there as Goron Link, and take the Powder Keg from him. Now take it to the entrance of Mountain Village, and up the hills and place it in front of the large boulder blocking the Goron Races, near the small Goron. It will blow up, allowing you to enter the Goron Races. Enter the race, and win the race to get some Gold Dust, which comes in a Bottle! Now as normal Link, take this Gold Dust, then head back to the Biggoron where you got your Powder Keg from to get another one. Take this, and head to Romani Ranch on Milk Road, and use it to blow up the giant boulder blocking the entrance to Romani Ranch on the First Day.

Enter the Ranch, and speak to Romani, the girl outside. She'll tell you about "them", who come every year before the carnival, and tell you that they steal her cows. Now, she'll ask if you would like to try your hand at being her assistant, so agree, then play her training game. Shoot all 10 of the balloons around the ranch while on Epona in under 1 minute, and she'll teach you a new song, Epona's Song! Now play it, and you will get Epona back!

While you're here, wait until 2AM to wait for the UFOs that come for her cows. Fend them off with your arrows all night long, until around 5:30AM to 6AM, when the sun comes up, and if you defended the Ranch well enough, Romani will give you a bottle filled with Chateau Romani milk! Woohoo! Another bottle! Good stuff man. Stay here some more, and talk to Romani and her sister outside of the barn. Now you'll have to guide Romani and her milk shipment back to Clock Town, so hop on with her, and get going! Along the way, there will be thieves who will try to steal the milk, so fend them off with your Hero's Bow and Arrows, and eventually, you will get to Clock Town safely, and you will receive the Romani Mask! Okay, time to get one more mask before we move on in the game: The Circus Leader's Mask (you can only get this mask after you have the Romani Mask). After getting the Romani Mask, head to the Milk Bar in Clock Town around 10PM on either Day 1 or Day 2, and talk to the fish near the stage. Agree to help him with his performance, and he'll have you play your instrument on a certain spot on the stage. Talk to him as each form of Link (normal, Goron, Deku, Zora), and you'll end up playing the Ballad of the Windfish, which will make Gorman cry, and give you the Circus Leader's Mask!

The Third Guardian Mask

If you still have time, return to Mountain Village, and bring the Gold Dust with you. Now enter the log cabin here, and be sure you have 100 Rupees too. Now have them re-forge your sword, but this time, since you have the Gold Dust, they can make your sword stronger forever. That's nice. If you need quick-cash, just go to East Clock Town, and enter the Bomber's Hideout, and run down the ramp. Now instead of heading into the water and straight to head to the Observatory, swim to the left down the corridor to a dead end (well whatever). Avoid the Skulltula, and to the left at the end is a ledge. Climb up it, and you will see a bomb-able wall with a crack in it. Take out a bomb, and bomb the wall open to reveal a chest. Inside this chest is the legendary Silver Rupee, worth a whopping 100 Rupees! Neato! Now use this 100 Rupees to re-forge your sword to get the Razor Sword! Now speak to them again, and he'll ask for the Gold Dust, and when it says press a C-button to pull out an item, press the C-Button that has your Gold Dust on it, and he'll do it for free. Come back the next morning to get the Gilded Sword!

Go into the Great Bay Area. Hop over the fence with Link's horse and into Great Bay Coast.

Great Bay Coast

Enter the beach area, and stop there for the moment. Now swim out into the ocean to the left to find a Zora in the need of help. He's floating above some birds, so he's not hard to spot. Now swim up behind him and push him to the shore. Now talk to him, and listen to his final words. After he says "someone heal my soul" play the Song of Healing to him, and watch the the weirdo cut-scene. When it ends, he'll leave the Zora Mask, and Link will take it. Put the mask on, and swim out to the first platform you see. Climb up onto it, and hit the Owl Statue here to activate it for later.

Now return back to the beach, and run to the right of the beach to find a cave opening, so head through it to the other side. Now turn right and look into the ocean. There is a large fin on top of a structure out there, so swim to it, and once you are there, sink to the ocean floor, kill the LikeLike, then enter Zora Hall (the big mouth-like thing).

Zora Hall

Inside of here, you can explore, but there's not much to do. Go right, and enter the small cave opening to see a door that leads to a shop that sells arrows, a Hero's Shield, and some Red Potion. Head left of this shop to end up back outside. Hit the Owl Statue here to activate it, then turn to the right, and speak with Princess Ruto (who is wearing blue). Warp back to Clock Town, and buy some Red Potion for 30 Rupees at the Trading Post, then exit out the Eastern Exit in East Clock Town. Now run straight while riding Epona, and hop over the first two fences, and you will reach an area with group of rocks to the right. Use your Lens of Truth to spot a soldier sitting in the center of them, waving his hands around. Speak to him to find out that everyone ignores him, and he'll ask for something to help him. Give him the Red Potion, and he'll give you the Stone Mask as a reward! You'll need this mask for later.

Now play the Song of Soaring, and return to the first Owl Statue that you activated in Great Bay Coast. Now hop into the water, and swim over to the right of where the Owl Statue is, and continue swimming until you reach another Zora near the wall. Talk to her to learn about the Pirates, then sink down to the ocean floor, and walk along the wall to towards the beach. Along the way, you will see some wooden boards with skulls on them, which Tatl points out to you. Swim or roll into them to break them (some are fakes), until you reach the "real" one, which reveals a hidden path. Now enter this hidden underwater tunnel, and once you reach some guards, put on the Stone Mask so they don't see you.

Pirates' Fortress

Once you are in here, run up the small ramp, and look around your area and be sure that there are no ships or boats around you, then dive into the water as Zora Link, and swim to the left, and you should eventually find a ramp that is underwater that leads up to a Goron Switch above water. Put on your Goron Mask, and do a Goron Slam onto it to activate it, put on your Zora Mask, then swim to the newly open gate that is underwater to the south. If a boat or guard gets near you, just throw on your Stone Mask to conceal yourself from them.

In the next area, swim to the gate with the wooden board covering it and swim into it to break it, then swim through it to find a large block. Hang a left of this block, break the next two boards, and swim straight to find another block. Push it as far as it will go, then enter the new path to the right to find the first block. Push this one as far as it will go, then return to the first block towards the beginning of this area, and it will be out of your way. Run forward from here, and step into the vaccuum of water ahead.

At the top, swim forward, avoiding the spikes while you're at it, and swim forward, and underneath the next vaccuum of water, because if you get sucked into it, you will be spit back out to the main water area (where the boats are) and you will have to do this again. Now past the vacuum is a platform with a door. Climb up and enter the door. Swim out past the ramp to find a chest underwater with a Red Rupee, (yay)then head up the ramp, then the stairs, and head left to a bunch of barrels. Now smash the barrels with Goron Link to open a door below containing a Heart Piece, then either roll down to the door before it closes, or switch to normal Link with the Bunny Hood to get it. Take the Heart Piece, then head back up the stairs and turn right to see a crystal switch. Use Zora Link's boomerang to hit the switch, then quickly swim through the new gate.

Swim forward past the water vaccuum by swiming along the surface of the water, then climb the ladder at the end of the path. Now quickly step on the floor switch, run onto the grate, then hit the crystal switch that is revealed to activate the gyser you are standing on. Climb the ladder here and use the telescope to check out the guards. Now turn around, and destroy the spikes with your boomerang. After they blow up, hit the switch behind the spikes, and climb down the ladder, and exit out the door.

Head around the outer ledge, up the ramp, and enter the inner fortress area. Now with the Stone Mask on, run to the center area with the ladder, climb it, and head across the bridge, but shoot the guard here with an arrow before exiting through the door. Watch the cut-scene explaining why you must find all 7 of the Zora Eggs. After the boring cut scene, shoot the bee hive with an arrow (hah hah hah hah hah hah hah he he he he he he he....what?), and the room will clear(heh). Now exit the way you came in here from, go back across the bridge, down the ladder, then head up the ramp that is to the left of the bridge, and enter the door that leads to the room you just cleared. Or you can just hop down to the ledge with the door from where you just exited. Inside, there is a large chest containing the Hookshot!^_^

Look up above the fish tank with the clam in it, and hookshot the wooden beam above it. Now you'll land above the tank, so turn into Zora Link, kill the clam, and take the first Zora Egg from the tank. Capture it in a bottle, then exit the tank. Leave the room, and look to your left. You should see a hookshot target-tower, so run onto that platform with it, then look up to spot another one on the next ledge. Hookshot your way up there, then enter the door to the left. Run past the guard, and enter the next door. In here, the door will lock behind you, and you will be forced to fight a guard. Don't worry it is easy enough. Defeat the guard to open the next door leading to yet abother egg. This egg is also inside of a tank, so take it. By now you should have run out of empty bottles, so warp back to the first owl statue near the Marine Research Facility, and drop off your Eggs here as Zora Link, then return to the Fortress, go to the first Goron Switch, and then hookshot your way back into the main area to continue your search for the eggs.

Once back at the entrance to the main fortress area, go left to find a hookshot target on a ledge, so make your way up to it with your hookshot, then hookshot your way to the next target to the left of that target, and enter the door. Defeat the guard just like you did earlier, then enter the next room with the tank, and take the Egg. Now exit out the next door.

Hop down to the main area again, and turn left, and make your way back to the hookshot target near the door you just entered to get the third egg, and look up to the opposite side of the door to see another hookshot target high above. Get up there, and run past the guard and across the bridge, and into the next door.

Dispose of the guards momentarily in here, then open the chest to get a Silver Rupee worth 100 Rupees. Now head up the ramp, and enter the door to fight yet another guard. Now warp back to the Owl Statue near the Marine Research Center, and drop off the last two eggs. Now quickly return to the fortress and take a picture of a pirate, then return to the shoreline with the 2 houses, and enter the one on the right. Talk to the man here, and show him your picture of the pirate. He'll give you the seahorse that wants to be returned to Pinnacle Rock, and will lead you there. Exit the hut, and swim out to the right of the Marine Center, and locate the two pillars in the water. Stand in between them, and release the seahorse here. Be sure you are just past the entrance to Pinnacle Rock before doing this. Or else, well actually I don't know what will happen because I never did it but still, you know.

Pinnacle Rock

Follow the golden seahorse by walking on the ocean floor, and at the entrance to Pinnacle Rock, he'll ask you to help his or her other seahorse friend. Now just sink to the bottom, and search inside of the holes here to find large snakes. Draw them out, and then hit them with your boomerang twice to kill them. Some areas will reveal an egg, and some will reveal other stuff. Inside one of these holes is the other seahorse. After nabbing two eggs, return back to the Marine Center, drop them off, then go back to Pinnacle Rock and find the last egg, and the lost seahorse to get a Heart Piece when you re unite the two seahorses. How sweet. *_*

Return the last three eggs to the aquarium in the Marine Research Center, and watch the sequence inside of the aquarium as the eggs hatch, and teach you the New Wave Bossa song as Zora Link! That sounds pretty. Now exit the Center, and warp to the Owl Statue in Zora Hall, and play the New Wave Bossa Nova song to the signere, and she'll summon the giant sea turtle. Hookshot onto her back with one of the trees, and she'll take you to the Great Bay Temple. Dun Dun Dah!!!!

Great Bay Temple

First of all light all of the torches here to find Stray Faerie Numero Uno. Head through the door, and enter the main control room with all of the stuff that controls the flow of water in this temple. Now turn left, and ride the elevator to find a platform with some Rupees and a Skulltula on it. Kill the Skulltula to get Stray Faerie #2. Hop into the water, and sink to the bottom to find Stray Faerie #3 under the water. Now look for a circular platform with a pushable switch on it (still underwater), and push it. You'll hear a confirmation sound, so now ride up the elevator to the left of the main door, and hop onto the platform with the 2 Skulltulas and kill them then hop across the fountain, and through the next door.

Now look to the northern part of the room to find a hole that leads to a new room, so enter it, and inside the next room, hop onto the ledge with the pots, then hookshot over to the large chest to find the Dungeon Map. Now locate the underwater tunnel to the right and across from the chest, and swim inside it, and past the hands trying to grab you. Follow the red pipe in here, and enter the next area with the Deku Babas, so sink to the floor, and kill them with your boomerang. Head through the next door.

Dive into the water, and kill every enemy here, then locate the small chest with a Small Key in it. Take it, then surface. Now hop onto to the platform, and hookshot your way to the large chest to get the Compass. Now return to the platform, and enter the vaccuum of water near the red pipe and return to the large room. Sink down, and walk until you find a tunnel with a red pipe in it, and follow it into the next room. Float up to the surface here, and climb up the red pipe, and through the next locked door using your Small Key. Break all of the pots in this next room, then enter the next door to fight a seriously annoying mini boss fight.

Boss: Wart

Guess who beat this guy on her first try? He is quite nasty according to others though, so perhaps having a Bottled Faerie would not hurt. Wart is surrounded by bubbles that are eye armor so use arrows until a few fall off and you can run around to destroy them. Repeat this tactic until you have a good shot at his eye and are able to shoot a Fire Arrow into it. Eventually he will start rampaging across the arm so just grin and bear it until his eye is visible and you can shoot another Fire Arrow into it. Believe it or not, he will go down and a chest containing Ice Arrows will reveal itself.

Go to the room with the red pipe and the Octorok. Freeze the Octorok with an Ice Arrow and use his now frozen corpse and a steppingstone to the center switch. Return to the water and enter the blue vent to find yourself in the main room. Leap onto the twirling platform in the center of the room and climb up to ledge with a ladder blocked by water. Shoot the water with an Ice Arrow so you are able to climb up the ladder and enter the next room.

Use Ice Arrows to create ice burgs to reach the yellow platform and then the green one. Activate the switch and return to the yellow platform. If you look up you can see a hole in the ceiling, so create an ice burg nearby so you can look into the hold and use your Hookshot to hit the target. Collect the Stray Faerie if you want and then return to the main room. From here you need to go back to the room where you received the Dungeon Map. Create a couple ice burgs and head across the room to the next door.

Freeze the Blue Chuchu and push it up to the ledge so you can climb up and push the switch. Return to the room where you received the Compass and look for a ledge with some ice. Create ice burgs to make your way over and use your sword and Fire Arrows to dispose of the ice and enter the new door.

Boss: Gekko Returns

Have your Ice Arrows ready to go and commence the fight. Sidestep the bubbles and slice him with your sword. He will summon all the bubbles to him and form one large bubble at the top of the room, which prompts you to shoot it with and Ice Arrow so it will fall and shatter. Rinse and repeat until Gekko is no more. The door will unlock itself and you can claim the Boss Key.

Take your leave through the hole in the gold fence and then hop back into the water flow to return to the main room. Look to your right to see a fountain with the convenient Hookshot target above it. It is almost as if they knew you were coming, how strange. Use the target to land on the fountain and when it reaches its highest point hop onto the red platform and push the switch. Jump down and push the yellow platform's switch and go back into the third room, also known as the other main room.

Just under the water there is a path that leads to the next area. For those of us who are not psychic, it is on the upper right of where you enter the room. Speed your way across to avoid those bloody hands. Once you are there climb up onto the elevator and patiently wait for the platform to come your way. You may have figured out that you need to hop on the spinning cylinder to reach this obviously popular platform. When you reach the ledge on the far side turn around and shoot an Ice Arrow at the fountain of water to stop the spinning cylinder. Run across the blades and into the next room.

There are points where I wish these people would make normal temples, with good old hallways and the like. Get on the seesaw furthest away from the door you just came in. Shoot the ice above with a Fire Arrow and mosey onto the seesaw to the right where you repeat the ice bit. You will rise to the green switch, which you must turn before going to the seesaw closest to the entrance. Leap onto the pipe and go into the next room and eventually the main room. I was just getting homesick about it, too. Look towards the bottom for a green tunnel that will lead you to the dungeon's boss. Or at least to the switch that you push to create a fountain that allows you to access the boss door. It is all just death and dust in the end anyway.

Gargantuan Masked Fish: Gyorg

It reminds me of the hunt! Start the fight by remaining of a platform waiting for Gyorg to swim by you. When he makes his grand jump chuck your Boomerang at him. When you hit him enough times he will become paralyzed long enough for you to swim up and fry him with your Zora Shield. Gyorg will call upon some piranha to feast on you, so just avoid them the best you can. For his other attacks, it is not all that difficult to dodge them. Collect your new Full Heart Container and step into the magical portal of flan to get Gyorg's Remains. Now there is the problem of what to do with all the leftover fish.

The Fourth Guardian Mask

Thus marks bottle hunting time. Go to the shore and head to the right of the two houses and through the cave. Continue along until you spot a piece of driftwood that you can climb up onto. Use your Hookshot to make your way up the platforms until you reach the hole by the waterfall. This will bring you to Waterfall Rapids, home of talking beavers. Change into your Zora form and talk to the beaver in the water. Agree to race him and swim through all the spinning rings. After you beat him another beaver will ask to race so accept. All you have to do to win both times is follow them, do not try to actually beat them. If you win both times they will give you their treasure, an Empty Bottle.

Here is a quest for the more materialistic gamer. Start fresh on the first day and return to the house left of the Fisherman's Hut. Use whatever brains you have to collect all thirty tokens before the day runs out and you will be rewarded with the Giant's Wallet. This spectacular piece of cloth can and will hold up to five hundred Rupees. This will be perfect for the mask you are about to obtain.

Withdraw or find five hundred Rupees and go to North Clock Town on Day One. Stop the prancing thief from stealing the old woman's bag and go to the Curiosity Shop when it opens to purchase the All-Night Mask. While you are in that mask-collecting mood gather fifty Rupees and bring Epona to the Gorman Track on Milk Road. Agree to race them for the mystery prize and saddle up. During the race try to only use one or two carrots to keep pace with the brothers because it's best to use the rest for the final sprint. You may have to do it twice so you get a feel for the track, but it is definitely possible to beat them in one try. After they wash your dust from their faces than accept the Garo's Mask from the two brothers. Now it is time for more difficult challenges.

Gather your wits and ride Epona to the Ikana Graveyard, now conveniently located in Termina Field. Hop the fences and head north until you spot a skeleton. Play the Sonata of Awaking and watch reanimate himself. After he sprouts up he will make quite the run for it, so strap on your good pair of sprinting boots.

Once you begin your pursuit you will notice how some pesky firewalls will hinder your progress. Kill the enemies that arise from the ground to access the next area. When you see Keeta slow him down with a few arrows. If you are able to keep up at this pace it will trigger a little skirmish with him. Run up and strike him with your sword to knock his balance, and then pelt him with an Ice Arrow to buy more attack time. Look out for his shadow after he starts trying to jump on you. After a while he will give up and admit defeat. Hookshot your way to the now accessible chest and claim the Capitan's Hat. Isn't it just charming?

Gather round children, while I play the Song of Double Time to turn day into night. Travel to the Graveyard on the Final Day after six wearing the Captain's Hat. Look around for a bunch of Stalchildren dancing around a grave. Go inside and find the grave keeper, Dampe. You will have to lead his royal pain of a self around to all six dirt patches so you can find the buried "treasure." Five of the patches are on the ground and the last is on top of a pillar. Since Dampe cannot shimmy up to the top, you must lead him onto the brown platform and climb up the ladder on the other side of the area to meet him on the last patch.

Now a Big Poe will come out to fight. Block his spin attack and shoot him with an arrow when he stops. It will drag out this sequence for a bit, but your reward will be an Empty Bottle. As for Dampe, you can find him under his bed.

Beneath the Graveyard

Remove the Captain's Mask and hop over that platforms and through the door. Remove all the Keese to access a chest with fifty Rupees. Use your Fire Arrows to light all of the torches so you can open the next door.

Boss: Iron Knuckle

Wouldn't it be fun if you could just trot by these things? When you are all set attack him to begin the fight. Try to get as many hits in as you can before he makes use of his axe. Dodge his swings until he embeds his weapon in the ground. Do a few lunges and repeat until he croaks.

Now you will meet a Composer who will show you where you can learn the Song of Storms. Examine the Tombstone to learn a new and rather sharp song. Leave the Graveyard to find an old man sitting to the right of the entrance. Put on your Garo Mask so he will set up a Hookshot target. Use it to gain admittance to Ikana Canyon.

Ikana Canyon

Run up the broken bridge and use some Ice Arrows to freeze the Octoroks so you can use them as stepping-stones. Use your Hookshot on the tree to your left and then onto the next two trees to reach the top of this area, where you will find an Owl Statue. Do not forgot to activate it and then run up the ramps to find and dried up lake and a tunnel that leads to it. Enter the tunnel and kill the Poe that starts to attack you for no apparent reason. Link is just not having a good day. Play the Song of Storms to refill the lake.

As you are watching the cinema you will notice that the house's door will unlock. This whole part of the game is a bit strange. Run out to the house and watch the little girl run away from you. My conclusion is that Link smells really bad. I mean, he's been hanging around the undead and fish and hasn't used soap for who knows how long.

In order to get some breaking and entering done, we need the girl out of the house. Place a bomb in front of her door and hide. Personally, I think a flaming bag of dog, ah, best not to give the little kiddies reading this any ideas. Once she gets far enough away from the door sprint into the house. Go downstairs and watch the mummy come out of the closet and immediately play the Song of Healing before the girl kicks you out of the house. Doing this will save the man and such, but more importantly it will get Link the Gibdo Mask.

Before you hop into the wall you have to collect the following items: one Empty Bottle, one Bottle of Milk, one Bottle of Bugs, one Bottle with a Fish, five Magic Beans, ten Deku Nuts, ten Bombs and at least one hundred seventy Rupees. You can find plenty of Bugs under rocks and a Fish in the Stock Pot Inn's kitchen. If you do not want to buy Milk, find and cow and play Epona's Song. After you've gotten all the said items head to the left of the Music House in Ikana Canyon and drop into the well.

Beneath the Well

It's a bit important to have the Gibdo Mask on. There is Faerie Fountain to the north and some Rupees but that's about it. Take a right and speak to the ReDead. He wants your five Magic Beans as a toll. Go through the door and run straight to the door at the end of the path. Give this ReDead some Deku Nuts and skip into the next room. Kill the Fire Keese and head left to the ReDead. Allow him to have ten bombs and enter the next room to fight a Poe. Circle the Poe until he stops rotating and pelt him with arrows. After you defeat him collect his remains in a Bottle and exit the room. Go back through the door and leave the room with the Fire Keese.

Once you are in the room that is before the Fire Keese hall turn right to see a door with a ReDead. Speak to him and allow him to take your Fish. Go through the door and down the hallway. At the end give the ReDead your Large Poe and enter the room with large spikes going back and forth. Watch out for the Wallmaster's shadow and the spikes of doom. Chuck your milk over t0 the next ReDead and go into the next room.

Make note of the four unlit torches and sundial. Shoot the torches with Fire Arrows to reveal a chest containing the Mirror Shield. What a fashion statement. Use your new accessory to reflect light onto the sundial to create a ladder. Shine light onto the block above the ladder to break it. Before you enter the castle play the Song of Soaring and go back to Clock Town. Buy a Powder Keg from the Bomb Shop and warp back to Ikana Canyon. Turn right at the Owl Statue and look for a small hole in the wall near the gates and squeeze through it.

Ancient Castle of Ikana

You will end up by a Sunstone with a crystal switch to your left. Smack the pretty thing so sunlight will fall into the space. Using your Mirror Shield, reflect the light on the Sunstone until it disappears. Put on the Gibdo Mask and enter the castle. I'm not sure what sarcastic comment I should make about the ReDeads. You think that the undead would have some better things to do. Use a Fire Arrow to shoot the icy eye switch to open the door to your left. Just kind of work with it from there.

Transform into a Deku and hit the switch. Quickly get over to the other switch and hit it when the floor comes back down. Use the Deku Flower to launch yourself to the platform with a floor switch. Go back to your normal form and step on the switch to open the door. Hit the crystal switch to raise the floor so you can go into the next room.

Pierce the Skulltulas with a few arrows and use your Hookshot to knock the spikes into each other so they blow up. Go Deku and glide over to the floor switch that you should step on as Link. Use the Lens of Truth to look for an invisible platform that you can use to reach the next ledge. Hop from platform to platform until you get to the next door.

Pop the Blue Bubbles and go up the stairs. Run and leap onto the ledge and follow it to the left. Go all the way to the platform with a Deku Flower on it and use it to glide over to the left platform with a switch on it. Do what needs to be done regarding the switch and drop down to the ground. Go through the castle's main entrance and look to the right for a frozen eye switch. Melt it with a Fire Arrow and enter the room.

There is a bloody Floormaster in here that will break into three parts when attacked. Run at it with your mirror shield and the light should kill it. Shine light on the Sunstone and enter the next room to see an old pal.

Boss: Wizrobe

That's when I reached for my revolver. Wizrobe will randomly appear at one of the four corners. When he starts to twirl around attack him. After a bit he will start to make copies of himself so keep a look out for the rotating one. Avoid the fireballs he tosses at you and watch the red dot on your map. Enter the door that unlocks.

Just skip past the ReDeads and head up the stairs to the exit. Run around the hole and to the right until Tatl points out a large crack. Turn Goron and blow it to smithereens with a Powder Keg. Jump down into the hole and reflect light onto the Sunstone. Break open the pots to stock up on magic and arrows for the upcoming boss fight.

Boss: Igos Du Ikana

This can be a bit of a pain solely because it is a longer fight. Before you can face Igos you must beat up his two henchmen. Shoot Fire Arrows at the two curtains to let sunlight in. You need to fight the henchmen like you would a Wolfos. Aim for their backs right before and right after they attack. When they fall into piles reflect sunlight onto them to defeat them permanently.

The king of Ikana is larger, stronger and more intelligent than his two henchmen but he still goes down the same way. Stand in the light and shoot in the back when he turns to run away. Right after you shoot him close in for a flurry of sword attacks. Dance back into the light and repeat this procedure until his head starts spinning around the room. Try your best to avoid both his head and body until they reunite. Repeat the same basic strategy as before and stay far away from his poisonous breath attack. It may just be a good idea to have a few bottled Faeries for this fight so you don't die right before he does. Once you are able to knock him out quickly reflect light on him to win the duel.

Watch the cut-scene involving the two henchmen and the king of Ikana, Igos Du Ikana. The king will teach you the Elegy of Emptiness, which makes a copy of Link's current form. You can have up to four statues at once: Link, Deku, Zora and Goron. Link sure got the short end of the stick in the statue department. Anywho, I refer to this process as cloning.

Return to the scenic Ikana Canyon. Go to the right of the Music House and up the ramp to enter a very time consuming Stone Tower.

Stone Tower

Jog past the first three stone platforms and stop at the switch. Clone yourself on top of it and use the Hookshot target to get up to the next floor. Make a Goron clone on switch of this level and one of a Zora one on the last switch on the next level. After all the switches have been occupied Hookshot up to the next level.

Frolic across the three blocks and stop on the three new switches to reset the blocks. Use your Hookshot to get to the next level. Clone Link on the switch and Hookshot yourself up to the next switch. Blast the Beamos before he gets you and clone a Goron on the switch. Scramble up to the next level and clone your Zora self on the switch. Skip back over the three blocks and step on the reset switches and Hookshot to the next platform.

Hookshot up the next two ledges and up to the peak of Stone Tower, were you will see an Owl Statue and three switches. Slash the Owl Statue to activate it and break open the pots for a bottle-able Faerie.

Now is the time for a gamble. I suggest playing the Song of Time after you activate the Owl Statue and then plucking out the Inverted Song of Time to slow down the flow of time. You can then just warp back to the Owl Statue and have little worries about that factor. If this is your first time playing through do not attempt to make it in less than a day and a half. It will save you some bitter feelings. If you have a considerable sum or Rupees don't forget to deposit them with the lap happy bank teller.

Regardless of what you choose, you will come across three switches near the Owl Statue. Face the Stone Tower Temple's entrance and clone yourself atop the switches in this order: right, left and then center. If done correctly the blocks will line up and allow you to enter the temple.

Stone Tower Temple

Pay heed to my advice, grasshopper. This seemingly solid place can become most confusing, so take care of the Dragonflies. They were getting in my thinking space. Smite the Eye Switch ahead of you to drop a chest. Enter the door to your left and go into the room with switches.

Flurry around until you've defeated all the Bomb-Dogs. After that distraction is no more, make a clone of yourself on every switch except for the large and small ones. Blow up the bomb-able wall to find some crates. Turn Goron to smash the big crates and pick up the small crate. Place it on the small switch and create a Goron clone on the large one to open the gate. Once you come upon the courtyard look for a small bare patch of ground and place a bomb there. This will allow desperately needed light through. Butcher the Dragonfly and slide down the stairs near the hole you just created. Reflect light onto the Sunstone and turn into a Goron. Run across the lava to get the chest containing the Dungeon Map.

Bomb the two statues near the chest and then blow up the other statues in the lava. Take the Small Key from the chest that pops up. Exit the room and go back upstairs to courtyard where you can use your new key on the locked door. Turn Zora and dive into the water. Locate the passage with all the Grub-Hands and allow them to grab you so they can toss you onto a ledge with a Small Key chest. Hop back in the water and make end of the Grub-Hands, then swim through the passage. When you get towards the end kill the spikes with your Boomerang and step on the switch. Surface and look for the frozen eye switch. Shoot it with one of your Fire Arrows to show a chest that you will deal with later. Go down the hall with the mirror and reflect light onto it. After it absorbs the rays for a few seconds run over to it and reflect some onto the Sunstone so it fades away. Jog past the old location of the stone and rid yourself of the Bomb-Dog to the left. Take the Compass from the chest and go back to and enter the locked door by where the frozen eye switch was.

Fend off the shadow creatures with any method you like and turn into a Goron. Smash the central pillars to reveal a pillar with mirrors on it. Reflect light onto the left mirror of the center pillar and onto the mirror beyond it, then use that light to reflect onto the Sunstone towards the back of the room. Go back to the first batch of light and reflect it to the right mirror of the central pillar and then onto the Sunstone. If you did this successfully a chest will appear containing a Faerie. Exit out the door.

Turn Deku and glide over the vents below you to make it across the room to the door and flaming chest. Don't mess with the chest just yet, and enter the room to fight for a new type of arrows.

Boss: Garo Master

Don your Bunny Hood Mask and wait for him to attack with his sword slash. Hop to the side right before he hits you and attack him once with your own sword while he regains himself. Right after your attack you must defend yourself against his counter-attack. Keep at it until the Garo Master is six feet under. Take the Light Arrows from the chest and marvel them for a bit.

When you go through the door you will see a Hiploop on the bridge. Use your Hookshot to remove its mask and then beat it up. Go through the next door and fight the Eyegore. Get at a forty-five degree angle to his eye and run at him with your shield up. Get close enough so he can attack you, dodge his attack and stab his eye with any of your ranged weapons. If you repeat that for a while he will disappear and be replaced with a chest. Open it up to collect another Faerie.

Return to the nearby Owl Statue by playing the Song of Soaring. Rearrange the blocks by using your clones to stop on the switches in this order: right, left and then center. Jump to the third block and let off a Light Arrow in the direction of the red emblem. Stare at the movie for a while and enter the place again.

Stone Tower Temple: Upside Down

This is one strange trip. Using the proper terminology, run forward on the rafters and go right to enter the door. Strike the Sunstone with a Light Arrow and go into the next room. Use a mixture of Deku Flower and air vent to reach the platform. Go up to the center bridge and enter the hallway with a switch at the end. When you hit it a chest will appear so get a Small Key from it. Use the air vents or Deku Flower to soar to the northwest corner of the room with some spikes, where you will find cheese! No, not really, but you will find a pretty handy door that you can open.

Activate the red emblem to make everything right once more. Run across the lava as a Goron and gun down the red emblem with a Light Arrow to go topsy-turvy and enter the next door. This room is a bit odd. Begin by shooting this red emblem to twist the room around. Look for a fallen block and push it across the center of the room to the same side as the hole. Pelt the emblem with another arrow and push the block as far ahead as you can. Flip the room around one more time and push the block into the hole. Climb atop it and hop onto the ledge. Once you enter the door you will be in a showdown with everyone's favorite wizard.

Boss: Wizrobe

Sometimes, you just have to stick someone in a blender before they will learn to avoid you. Wizrobe happens to be one of these people. His attacks are the same old thing except now he can stand on a ledge and shoot fire at you. Stand behind the fenced area so as to avoid his fireballs and take aim for the platform in front of you. Wait for him to relocate there and use him as an arrow pincushion. He will start to spin around the room after a bit so you know what to do.

Out of nowhere a chest with a faerie will appear so use your Hookshot to reach it and go out the door. Remember the location of this next room because you will have to come back to it later. Just float across the room for now. Shoot the spikes in the next room to blow them up. Glide over to the ledge where the spikes were and use the chest above you as a Hookshot target to get to the next ledge. Enter the door and put on the Stone Mask to avoid the Blue Bubbles. Before you go through the door stock up on magic and arrows.

Boss: Gomess

This will not prove difficult unless you run out of magic and arrows. Gomess uses a shield of bats to defend himself so you will have to shoot a Light Arrow into them before you hack at him. Prepare for his counter attack by raising your own shield. Should you run out of magic you can get some by killing bats. After he takes a dive it will unlock the door with the Boss Key.

Return to the room with the Deku Flowers and Poes. Use a Deku Flower to glide to the ledge on your left. Sport the Stone Mask and run through the shot maze and locate the switch on the floor. Stop on it and clone yourself. Skip over to the extinguished chest and take the key. Go back to the room with the Deku Flower and spikes and go right instead of going by the spikes. See the door? Guess what you do from there.

Oh an Armos, how delightful. Shoot the bugger with a Light Arrow and kick it around a bit. Stomp on the switch to reveal a chest above you and use that as a Hookshot target. Enter the locked door and begin dueling the Eyegore. Get at a forty-five degree angle to his eye and run at him while defending yourself. When you get close enough he will pound the ground and his eye will turn yellow. That's one hell of an eye infection, no wonder he's so fussy. Pelt his eye with a couple of arrows or the Hookshot. After your do this a few times he'll croak and a chest will appear containing the Giant's Mask.

If I could control your fragile little mind right now, I would warp back to Clock Town and buy some Chateau Romani at the Milk Bar. All you need is the Romani Mask and two hundred Rupees. While you are there you may as well buy some faeries for your bottles. Then just warp back to the Stone Temple and head to the boss door. You may have to flip the whole thing over again.

Jog past where you received the Giant's Mask and into the room with the spiked logs. Hit the crystal switch in front of you to reveal a chest and use it as a Hookshot target to get onto the cage. Use the target in front of you to get past the next spiked log. Drop down to the ledge and enter the boss door.

Giant Masked Insect: Twinmold

Drink your Chateau Romani and put on your Giant's Mask. The insects' weak points are their heads and tails. All you have to do is slice them as the come by you and when they go into or come out of the ground. Though I am sure some of you were too lazy to get the milk, so you will just have to hit the pillars scattered around the area to acquire magic. Avoid going too far past the perimeter because you will fall into the void and have to restart the fight.

Basically, squish the genetically warped bugs, get a Heart and enter the resulting portal.

Battle Preparation

If you do not already have the Romani Mask, get it now. I cannot stress how much you will want a bottle of Chateau Romani for the third phase of the fight with Skull Kid. For that matter, collect all twenty masks in the game. The individual masks will not be of much help, but if you have them all you can get something special. To get a bottle of Chateau Romani, wear the Romani mask and go to the Milk Bar after ten at night. You should be able to buy some from the, um, milk-tender.

For the items bit, stock up on faeries, arrows and Bombchus. You may find some type of use for other items, but these are the ones that will catastrophically screw you over if you run out. Do not forget to collect as many Heart Pieces as you can.

When you gather all these things go wait at the Clock Tower until midnight on the Final Day. Once the steps drop down head to the top, view the movie and play the Ode to Order on your Ocarina.

09: The Final Battle

There are no tricks, this is really the last chapter of the game. I assume that you brought along that milk I was bugging you about. Save that, arrows and Bombchus for the fight with Majora. If you don't then you are a great big loser.

The Moon

Not quite like you imagined, eh? Observe the five children wearing masks. Four are wearing the remains of the Guardians and the fifth is showing off their own Majora mask by the Tree. At this point you come to a crossroads. If you wish to fight Majora as soon as possible talk to the fifth boy and skip the next few sections. For those of you with some sense of adventure complete the following dungeon sections. The reward is well worth the non-existent hassle.

Deku Dungeon

Speak to the lad wearing Odolwa's Remains and give away one of your masks to play a game. Once you enter the Deku Dungeon turn into your Deku form and launch yourself out of the first Deku Flower onto the spinning platform. Rinse and repeat. Glide to the ledge on the right and look for a Deku Flower. Try to aim your next landing at the Golden Deku Flower. Using the aforementioned plant, go to the left hand platform and through the door. Give the boy one more mask to go back to the Moon.

Goron Dungeon

Look for the youngster sporting Goht's Remains. Chuck two of your masks his way and head to the Dungeon of Gorons. Give me a hug! I guess only Ocarina of Time fans will appreciate that. Anywho, turn into a Goron and roll down the first straight path. Once your spikes appear let go of the control stick. Stop at the Green Pots and head across the bridge. Take a left and roll ahead to the left and over the next bridge, then stop again. Use the lengthy runway to launch your over the gap and then let go of the control stick. Try to bounce off the chest and onto the platform with a Heart Piece. If your Goron skills are a bit rusty this will take more than a little time. Just remember I got it on my first try, so compare yourself to me and cry. After you exhaust your tissue supply go back onto the bridge and roll to the door. Fork over two more masks to leave.

Zora Dungeon

Find the kid wearing Gyorg's Remains and hand over three masks to enter. Turn Zora if you haven't figured that part out yet. Hop into the pipe and sink to a walk. Go left, right, left and then straight to get to your Heart Piece. Continue going forward to restart the dungeon. This time go left, right, left and right to find the little guy. Give him three masks to go back to the grassy plains.

Link's Dungeon

Despite the promising name this place holds nothing new. Locate the chap wearing Twinmold's Remains and give him four masks to enter the temple. The first room has a Dinofol, the second a Garo Master, and the third a more annoying Iron Knuckle. After you defeat the Iron Knuckle take the Bombchus and look to your right for a crack in the upper part of the wall. Spot it? Good for you. Using all corners of your brain, aim a Bombchu towards it to reveal a ladder switch. Do what seems logical and collect your Heart Piece. Go through the door and give your last four masks to the child to exit.

Ready or not, it is time to face the final boss. Talk to the child next to the great tree to gain access to Majora's lair. If you gave away all your masks before you talked to him, he will give you the all-powerful Fierce Deity's Mask. Link looks even cooler than his adult version in this mask. If you paid no heed to my advice and are missing some the child will just say that you have weak masks and allow you to enter.

Majora's Mask: Phase One

Just to spoil the fun, this is the trickiest stage. If you have any sort of a functioning brain you can figure out that Majora's weak point is behind his mask. To conserve arrows turn Zora and use your Boomerang to slice him when he halts in mid-air. Slice and dice him when he falls to the ground. When you chop off the equivalent of head the Guardian masks will begin to attack you. Devise your own way to deal with them; I personally am a fan of the Boomerang. When they die off focus once more on the protagonist. When he starts to shoot fire you must immediately turn back into Link. Any fire whatsoever means death for the Zora. Roll and hop to avoid the fire attacks and go about the previous method with arrows until he collapses.

Majora's Incarnation: Phase Two

This is where I considered Major may be gay. All he does is frolic around the room like a pansy. Wait for him to stop skipping around and pelt with an arrow to bring him down and then hack him to bits. If you are like my brother and have the aiming capabilities of a blind mole, then you are going to run out of arrows. Should this occur, go Zora and bother him with your shield attack. Since some of you probably forgot how to do this, you hold down R and then B. If you run out of magic, well, you're an idiot. It will not be too long before he fades into his level.

Majora's Wrath: Phase Three

This can be the most difficult stage or it can almost pathetic. You need to be careful when he starts his Indiana Jones impression. His whips can reach all over the room and your shield does not provide much cover. If you must go about it this way, I recommend popping Light Arrows at him and then working in some sword slashes until you defeat him. I beat him this way once but you need above par reflexes. My other technique is godly in comparison.

For an easier time with Majora's Wrath, simply turn into Zora Link, and hold down R for the entire fight. Only bring it down to attack Majora while he is stunned. To stun him, hold down R to block his tentacles and when you get close to him hold down B to bring out your electrical Zora Shield. "But I surely will run out of magic!", you say. The brilliant trick is to drink your bottle of Chateau Romani before you go Zora. Now just attack him as either Zora Link or Link if you have the Gilded or Great Faeries Sword. After a while he will start chucking spinning razors at you so do what you wish to avoid these. After you hack him to calamari bits he will blow up and you will be able to go back to your scheduled programming.

Now pry your little fingers of the controller and watch the final cut-scene.

After Word

Not as awe-inspiring as the other Zelda games, but everyone has those days, even game designers. This will not deter me from playing any other games with Link, should they be released.

Why did I spend so much time writing this? Why didn't I just work on my book? What is the purpose of existence? Forty-two. Being said and done, this was my first walkthrough and it turned out well. Just like everything else coming from me, right?
