Movable Type

First you have to unzip all your files and open mt.cfg in your text editor. Look for CGIPath and change it to where your CGI files are located. Now create a database and make sure you CHMOD it as 777. Next job is to search for DataSource and change it to the path for the Movable Type database. Save mt.cfg and exit out of it.

Open WSFTP or whichever program you care to use. Upload the files and CHMOD all the CGI files to 755. Start your web browser and go to mt-load.cgi and finish up. Once you are done with this page, I recommend that you delete it to keep people from trying to hack you.
