Open Microsoft Paint and make a row of 11x11 pixel blocks.

When you have made enough for your word, zoom in so the blocks will be easier to work with. Now put your letters in the boxes. I suggest the font Redensek, which can be downloaded at most font sites, Zoom out when you are done. Now you will have to make a series of images so the blinkie will be animated. One image must have all black letters, one with the first letter white, one with the second letter white, and so on. Make sure that all the images are the same size or you will have a weird result.

Now you have to save all of these images as gifs. I don't think Microsoft Paint will let you. For example, name the first image b_01.gif, the second b_02.gif, and do that until you have them all saved. After you save them all open Jasc Animation Shop 3 and click on the wand next to the File menu. Just keep clicking next until you get to the screen to add images. Add b_01.gif, b_02.gif, and the rest until you're done. For that blink effect add b_01.gif then your last image to the end.
