A Girl Of Summer

Huh?

I grew up in daydreams amid books, music and computers. Time escapes me and rarely do I go after it, because we never really understood each other, anyway. I'm reserved, always tired and begrudgingly a romantic. Initiating conversation is a daunting task for me, but I can carry on one for hours. My room’s only immaculate when I’m in deep procrastination, but asymmetrical objects bother me. I could stare at the clouds and listen to music all day without growing bored, but never was I able to sit through a class without fidgeting.

Describing Moment

I was walking in a courtyard with a friend when I stared up at the sky in thought. He came up and looked with me, then turned and gave me a strange look. I continued looking into space.
Me: Hm?
Him: You don't belong here, do you Erica?
He just laughed and looked back to the sky.

Activity

Over my lifetime I've participated in tae kwon do, kum do, swimming, soccer, cheerleading and tumbling. Exploring, whether it be forests or abandoned buildings, is one of my favorite things. I wish I could find others who enjoyed it.
